The setup gets even better on special plays. Byfield is expected to feature on LA’s first power-play unit alongside Panarin and Kempe, giving him multiple ways to get on the scoresheets. With Kevin Fiala unavailable, there should be quite a lot of responsibility on the Kings’ top guys shoulders. Expect a fast hockey game where mistakes might happen that got you end up in a penalty box.

The young Russian finished last season playing some of his best hockey, collecting 22 points in 26 games after the Olympic break and closing the year with six points over his final three games.

Michkov looked sharp during camp and found the net against Boston in preseason, while also creating several other dangerous chances with his effort on offense. More importantly for this bet, he’s expected to have a significant offensive role and get first unit power play time.

For a player who ended last season producing at close to a point-per-game pace, 2.10 is a price we’re happy to try and catch.
